Thanks Graham
I just finished re working it a bit to make the lyrics fit better.
I think it is about as good as I'm able to do.
Feel free to take a shot at it - make any changes that you think it needs.
As you and all on chordie know, I'm a writer not a musician.
.
Thanks for the kind words
Jim
Thanks Phill
Nah - never touch the stuff.
Just seen too much of it - and a friend had it happen to their son.
Lol about the singing - there is no song easy for me to sing
!
I'm not sure this is a final version - when I sing it in my head it sounds nothing like those chords when I play it. We'll see what happens - a work in progress.
Thanks for giving it a look
Jim

I don't get it??? How do they log you off ?
glad you saw through her !
Beamer
Man it sounds like you need some closure and healing.
Hope you find it soon, although the songs have been great !
Jim
Mojo- You have done it again - you always come through a classic line that just sticks in your head !
This is another classic song by you! perfect voice for this song - I always enjoy your songs. I'm sure this resonates with many people.
Thanks for sharing.
Jim

AND EVERYONE A 2ND COUSIN TO A BREAD MACHINE !
GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU MY FRIEND
Jim
looking at the songbook incident - hope this song isn't true
What the heck happened ?
All the songbooks are gone including mine !!!
Sad, but very nice song. Is there a reason it's only the music and no singing on soundcloud. I thought the lyrics were well done
Jim
My Taylor 224ce-K DLX Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar
I used to play my Martin all the time. but this is by far the best of my guitars.
That was the line that got me too Phill !
and Beamer easier said than done - Always is !
Good song man

Did you play that stupid game where you spin for the discount ? I have played it everyday since you posted and never got a code for more than 10 % ( Which is ok)
I'm holding out for the 20% - if I get that I would get this amp for $209 darn good deal I think - except - as I am reading many reviews - loads of them say it has a huge annoyance in hum feedback because of improper grounding - a bad plug
Did you get that hum with yours ?
Jim
A total shame RIP EVH
Very nicely done Boys !
Over the course of my life I've had two dogs as such - best friends and inseparable. When the last one died it was like losing one of my kids - very hard.
Thanks for reminding me of all the great times I had with the dogs.
The video is great - I liked the pictures as weell as the music !
Jim
Avett Brothes are awesome.
They are scheduled to play 15 minutes from house next year if all goes well.
Can't wait.
Thanks for the reminder CG !!
Here is a link to the song I wrote.
Wish my playing and singing were better. (:
I've got a Roy Rogers guitar from 1950's
I will try to take a picture of it today and post it.
Yaki Dar to your anniversary Phill
and here I thought this was going to be about celebrating PHILL and ANN ! ![]()
Phill
I believe you can make any guitar sound great, much the same way Ann always makes you look good !

I remember my first guitar was a Cherry red Sqier Stratocaster. It played good - I gave it to my neice a few years ago
Congrats on the 50th Phill

I really liked this - couple thoughts popped in my head as I listened.
I don't have time tonight , but maybe another day I'll listen again
