Hi Ark,
Great piece as usual smile
Sounds like you have a track with wind gently blowing in the background.
"Winter Winds" comes to mind for me.

Great food for thought Jeff.
Music will always be with us...rich or poor, healthy or not, happy or sad. Music is our soul and defines who we are in crazy and confusing times.
Thanks for this smile

Hi Steve
I don't know if it my set up or not(myspace is still working out the bugs)but I could only hear parts of your song and then it would cut out sad
Don't be discouraged by this as it is just the system while the bugs are being worked out..
I agree with Roger on the click track as keeping time while recording is tough to do but becomes easier with practice(I'm no Pro...not even in the same country let alone ballpark lol )
Great job for first time out.
Keep at it smile

Thanks

Did you join as an artist or a myspace member... To be able to post songs you have to join as an artist(band). If you did not join as an artist you will have to rejoin as an artist, this could take 24-48 hrs.
Myspace is confusing and you have to take the time to get familiar to there protocol.
They are WEIRD this way.
I think it sucks but that is just me.
Hope it helps

Hi 06
I also can't stand my voice and cannot tell if I am in key or not.I have ended up listening to my recordings once a day to become accustomed to my sound.Still not happy with it but that's OK as it is becoming somewhat tolerable.I think I will be using the help from the recording section for any future work. But I will also keep on practicing my vocals.
Hope this helps smile
Kenny

A little late but a well deserved Happy Birthday Russ smile
I hope your not too bloated from all the Butter Pecan ice cream eaten or hung over from all the Diet Root Beer drank.(Good way to go with the Diet Root Beer...Very healthy smile)

Now rest up....You have some work to do this Thursday in the studio.Kick butt Bud.

Nice writing 06sc500
Step1[] song   <put this word in brackets                              Square Brackets< to start format
Step2{} t:     <put t: and title in brackets                               Curly  Brackets<gives title
Step3{} st:    <put st:and author in brackets                          Curly  Brackets< author
Step4{} soc    <put soc in brackets                                       Curly  Brackets< start of chorus
Step5{} eoc    <put eoc in brackets                                       Curly  Brackets< end of chorus
Step6[] /song  <put /song in brackets                                 Square  Brackets< end of song

No Spaces when setting up.When you are done preview it first. If not right go back and look for the little things like wrong bracket or an extra space.
You won't need to type in Chorus  or Verse .The format will set it up to separate them
Hope this helps.
Good Stuff

Glad to hear you are on the road back to recovery Headcase. It may be a long road but you've taken the first steps. smile

I am Canadian and if this is the position I was in, I would be consulting a lawyer ASAP so they can prepare for a court case.
It seems to me they are at fault and they seem to be agreeing to that. "They might pay the medical bills" sounds like they are trying to take advantage of you. What about loss of work? What about your abilities as a guitar player.
I am not one for suing at the drop of a hat but if someone is at fault, they screwed my life up royally and have money coming out the ying yang.Your damn straight I'd sue them.
Headcase you only have one life to live and Busch Gardens has shown and admitted negligence by offering to pay medical bills only.
Talk to a lawyer Mate ASAP First consultations are always free. Can't hurt

I noticed in your bio on MySpace that you have a second site that you post other songs on.Any way we could have that link.I couldn't find it on your page.

That he was Daddy
Apparently he started his food business on a lark back in the late sixties saying that all profits would go to charities.A man of his word(a rarity in Hollywood) he grew his business over the years and has donated 250 million dollars to many charities."The Hole in the Wall" camp set up for handi-capped children amongst the few he had started.
Definitely an original

Here is a couple of links I have been using to figure out what the chords are and to help me out with other issues.Hope they can help you out also
http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/index.php
Look for specific chords

http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/chord_name.php
Click finger positions to find name of your chord.

Variations will be tricky with the chopro format but that's OK as long as the main idea is there.
We're all learning and having fun at it smile

Formatting.....Use Square brackets to  start[] with the word song typed in between
Curly brackets for title{t:} The name of the song
Curly brackets for artist{st:} The name of the artist
Do not put in {c:chorus}
                  all you need is start of chorus {soc}
                                         end of chorus {eoc}
When song is complete                             [/song]

Notice the use of square brackets....It won't format unless used properly
Hope this helps
