Well I don’t know what happened to the original link. I will re-record it an maybe sing it better.
Last night I was playing it with the Em and to me it doesn’t sit right. Sounds good on piano but from B to Em there is not much of a change.

Not only have I now had my 3rd vocal lesson, My instructor is so cool that she has helped me change my song into a better key for my voice. By no means am I magically better. Just the 4 weeks has made a really big improvment!
Heaven or Hell is still in G and I have a vocal melody to follow. OH! We now have 2 brakes and a bridge!
Truth be told, this is the very first song I have written with a bridge. Im being slowly spoon fed correct theory and comosition.
We always go overtime so i gave her a $15.00 tip and some fresh baked cookies my daughter had made.
I asked her if all her students asked her to do arrangement on their songs. She said "not really" most i am asuming are younger and just wanting to sing to the radio. -so to speak-
I made the changes in my song version and bounced it to the top. Maybe you all would like to check it out.

Pure off the cuff. Just playing the riff and let the words flow on the main chorus. Then today wrote the rest of the song. I’ll post the scratch

Never too late:
Key: A, see video for lick and then a chuck berry sort of groove. A to E back to lick > to E with old school type riff and pinky work and then a EDC back to riff, the vid shows it better than i can type it.

You found it when you were ten.
You felt it, start to begin.
All the power fueled by lust
Had to let it out before you’d bust.
Oh It’s never too late for rock and roll
Never too late for rock and roll
Just open up, let it feed your soul.
Because It’s never too late, Never too late, for rock and roll!
You’re never too old, it’s a burning fire
Keep chasing the dream
You gotta feed your Desire.
Feel the Fire, let it take you higher!
When it drives you,
Don't abdicate
Keep pushing forward
Follow your fate
Oh It’s never too late for rock and roll
Never too late for rock and roll
Just open up, let it feed your soul.
Because It’s never too late,
Never too late, for rock and roll!

Midnight Moonlight

PM verses / Pre- Chorus
D5- E5- C5
Chorus play open chords
170 Bpm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt3AeGE … p;index=13
V1
It was a chance of fate
I never would’ve imagined that date
She stopped and looked at me, saw the look in my eye
Took my hand, so beautiful I thought I’d cry
Pre - chorus
It was a midnight moonlight love affair
I never knew her name or the color of her hair
She took my hand to help me stand
We tripped and fell down in the sand
Chorus:
Midnight. Moonlight.
I’ll never forget that girl
Midnight. Moonlight.
Ya’ know she rocked my world!
v2
Does it seem strange?
I didn’t know her name?
there was no need to know,
That would'ev spoiled the show.
Midnight. Moonlight.
I’ll never forget that girl
Midnight. Moonlight.
Ya’ know she rocked my world!
It was a midnight moonlight love affair
I didn’t know her name or the color of her hair
She took my hand to help me stand
We tripped and fell down in the sand
Midnight. Moonlight.
I’ll never forget that girl
Midnight. Moonlight.
Ya’ know she rocked my world!
V3
It was a chance of fate
I never would’ve imagined that date
She never said a word and never said good bye.
We walked away with a gleam in ouir eyes!

Well we run through this life
With the joys and the strifes
Directions unknown
Hoping, we don’t get burried under stone
Try to stay true an do what is right
Landscape keeps changing
An life’s rearranging
Give me strength,,, to keep up the fight
It's all Hot rods and heroes
Clunkers and zeros
Not everyone is a winner
We can’t all be first on the finish line
Lovers and cheaters
Habitual repeaters
Brand new beginners
That don’t make them sinners
Hot rods and hero’s
Clunkers and zeros
No one knows where to go
No one has to know
Well we run through this life
With the joys and the strifes
Directions unknown
Hoping, we don’t get burried under stone
Try to stay true an do what is right
Landscape keeps changing

DON'T THINK TWICE
7-30-2020
“When it feels nice don’t think twice”
That’s how the story goes,
Long black hair and hot from head to toes
Bring on the twins and let’s make it thrice.
Hello my kitty kitty, your story has been sung
Now for your other half, it’s not yet begun.
XOXOM, the first one I did meet,
She just knocked me off my feet.
When you need to smile
Just fantasize twins, and you get style
One for each eye
Each one by your side.
When you see the twins
You always feel it’s a win
An arm’s length and a window away
I still love to say Hey.
“When it feels nice don’t think twice”
We can dream and make it nice
Long black hair and hot from head to toes
Bring on the twins and let’s make it thrice.
“When it feels nice don’t think twice”

Wonder if adding some Tremalo reverb delay would make it more spegetty western? Harmonica and cajon would definatly fill it in. I may try doing again and multitrack some electric tidbits.

This will go here till music is written.
Don’t fall for the power play
It only works if you let it spoil
Your day
Toss the past reliving it
will will leave you downcast
So many have been let go
Don’t say it isn’t so
Some cleanse their soul
Others won’t let go
One man’s trash
another man’s treasure
trading it in on second time’s
first time pleasure.
Poison in the air
Whenever we are near
Invisible boundaries ever still
No clean air it’s been a F*ing year
One man’s trash
another man’s treasure
trading it in on second time’s
first time pleasure.

VID OF A JAM I DID RIGHT AFTER I GOT HOME
GFS Dream 90's have proven to be some of the most popular pickups in the world since their introduction in 2004.
A "Vintage Correct" TRUE P90 in a humbucker form factor. After nearly 1 year of handmade prototypes, design changes and careful recalibration- we've come up with a pickup that we proudly call the Mean 90. How do they differ from the Dreams? We've gone to a different Magnet structure, different coil size, added an expensive German Silver baseplate, and completely revamped to output level. We slightly "age" Alnico V magnets, and wrap the coils with Formvar 42 gauge wire. The result is a pickup that is FAR more aggressive in the lower mids, yet still has a crisp and clear high end. Think of the Mean 90's as a 4-10 Tweed Bassman
The Means are smoother- warmer, fuller and a tad louder. If you like Vintage Tones and really want to FEEL your pick attack on the strings- I think the Mean 90 may be the best pickup currently available. Neck Position - 7.8K Bridge Position - 8.6K

I loved how the P90s made my Tele rock, so even tho I love the tone and sound of the stock Dean pups in this killer Boca, I grabbed a pair of GFS Mean 90’s, they were in my mailbox Monday the 6th, and called my shop. “Yes we are re-opened, we now have a 2 week backlog “. IDC IM ON MY WAY
!
Tommy’s is a great shop. Tommy himself did the Mod on my Tele during lockdown. I am very happy he was able to survive and keep his employees.
ON the not so good note, My other shop which is a larger family owned business with 3 nice shops (Kennelly Keys) may not be reopening the shop nearest me. This is sad as a lot of good guys work there and I’m gonna lose my hang out!
No longer can I say “I’m like Norm from Cheers” because my "Cheers" won't be there.
I hope this is just a rumor.

I forgot to mention I went to see him when I was in 8th grade or so.
I will say I was to young to apriciate all his cool songs as I just wanted to hear The devile went down to
Georgia, and he and the band really just stood there on stage bearly moving. I wish I had paid more attention.
I also missed him live on the USS Saratoga (CV60) during Desert Shield/Storm. he did a one man show, but I worekd nights , so I had to enjoy it form the ships tv taping.
Still he was super cool and very good on his own with guitar aqnd fiddle (borrowed from a crew memeber because he had not brought his.) The guy ran to his bunk and got it, Charlie trashed that bow! Then he got the guys info. Pretty sure that new, and probably much better, bow never got used when the guy got it!

As Phill has said, very moving and powerfull ![]()
My father was what I would call a "functional" alcoholic, but one none the less. He did not go down this type of path, but it did destroy his marriage and caused some issues for my brothers more so than me. I just learned to be observant and know when to keep to my self. He has been sober for quite some time now.
( I really cant remember how many yrs).
My present GF, went to rehab a week after I met her. I had no clue she would have needed to. I just thought Man This chick can hold her wine! It has been awesome for her! It has also by proxie put a big dent in my intake, and thats not bad at all.
Cheers and great writing!
