Hey Jeff,

Oh Ok, are you then coming from your mixer right and left, to channel one and two on the front of the Amp? then out the back to the other amp? That sounds more like it.
Exactly Wayne and you're welcomehenryb!
Keep in mind gentlemen this system is good for a smaller, open air( mainly outdoors) type area. Lots of bodies absorb sound as well. I use my Bose L1 in the middle of my two Marshall set-up when I expect larger crowds or bigger areas to fill with sound. But for the average pub or laid back outdoor beach bar the two Marshall( or equivalent) set-up is ideal.
Toney, I believe you're saying to use the one red and one white RCA outlets on the mixer into the one red and one white RCA inputs on the front of the amp, correct ?
No Wayne, it's all 1/4" outlets. There's a 1/4" line out on the back of the amp. The RCA outlets are used for my CD/DVD player that I use for break music.
henryb,
Here's how I run my 2 amp set-up;
My mics (one vocal, one percussion) and guitar lines into unpowered Mackie mixer.
Two lines out( left and right)of Mackie into front channels of Marshall 1.
From Marshall 1- line out( back of the amp) into Channel 1(front) of Marshall 2 .
I place them app 6'(feet) behind me, left and right sides of the stage app12' apart angled slightly inward.
I also have homemade stands that sit about a foot off the ground and tilt the amps upward around 20 degrees.
Noted guys, I'll check with Per regarding the use of websites as a sticky reference. It'll probably be cool but I just wanna dot the I's and cross the t's. I'll get back with you guys when I get a reply from the main man.

Awesome Russell!!! This kind of tune suits your voice and your style of playing to a T. And thanks for not using pre-recorded drums(haha), good job tappin' the drum sounds in on your own. Well done young fella!!!!

I cannot for the life of me work out how to get an image on here. I must be really thick or computer language is just c**p ...and I KNOW I'm not thick lol ! Somebody please speak English and help me....I dont speak [url]*&$ Huyjws7ednhdmdmk...whatever}/#@$%...arrrrrghhh
..Im just raving....I hate computers and I use them everyday..Ooohh , this could be a thread...What do you hate most about computers ? LOL : )
I HEAR YOU Ray Melton!!!!!! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!
They( computers) don't do what I what them to do. Well eventually they do after asking 11 people, altering algorithms, deferring and altering pre and post data input sources, ordering a hot-mail plate of pancakes, deleting a big bag of cookies, fowarding a photograph to another person flicking a pic of a pic, placing appropriate rarely used punctuational tools, and then maybe, if the aforementioned 28 steps were performed properly, a desired result will be attained. Seems like a lot of climbin' to get a short way up a desired pole of achievment. I despise the modern age of technology.......................
A big stinky bag of horse manure if you ask me. ( haha) Whatever happened to the ole, " come on over to the house and watch the slide show from our trip to the ........" with a huge cooler full of beers and hamburgers blazin' on the grill.
Ahhhhh the good ole days, I miss simplicity......
But on the positive side I've enjoyed conversatin' with you folks', well most of you at least!...(teehehaha)

do we really have to argue over this?
is there an arguement brewing?
was there one about to start?
was there the potential for one?
Par for the course here in US.
Conservative vs. liberal, republican vs. democrat, Limbaugh vs. Maher,
Fox news vs. MSNBC, Tommy Bahama vs Thrift Stores(haha).
The line of seperation here in the US is ugly and absurd, freedom of speech is nice though.
Nice points on both sides nontheless. These lines of seperation need to be replaced with circles of compromise.
I am a proud owner of this guitar
http://www.activemusician.com/item--EM.HB15-TS
and absolutely love it. I had to have it customized to a lefty( Washburn doesn't make this guitar in the left-handed version) but it was fixed to perfection by the best guitar tech and of the best blues guitarist/singer ( in my humble opinion) in the universe. ( Ed Wright from Brandon, FL). It's a very affordable guitar, visually stunning, and sounds amazing! Give it a look, listen, and feel.

Q-tips and electronic-safe silicone spray. Use these first. If it doesn't work then seek further assistance via experts in electronics. And BE CAREFUL! Shocks can kill!!!!!
Thanks Ken. I'm not religious either I study Taoist philosophy, Living simply, compassion & Humility Easy to say not always easy to follow.
Thanks again
Trevor
Well done/written/said ctech. I fell victim to organized religion as well for a brief period in my life. Then I reached puberty and began to think for myself and realized what huge croc OR is. Too many contradictions, too much hypocrisy. Now that your background is revealed, your song makes much more sense to me. Thanks for sharing.

Play with others. Learn from them what you want to know and teach them what they want to know from you.
There's an old saying. I don't know where it comes from, but I think it's truthful. "Teach what you most need to learn."

Brilliant.......
Hi Jackson C and welcome to Chordie. I like the link!
A fellow lefty,

Playing with other people, and lots of 'em. Some players will be better than you, you'll be better than others, but we all can learn a thing or two from another person and their perspective on the guitar. ( for the most part)
Another thing I like to do is take my guitar to a desolate, remote, out of the way location and share some music and scenery with nature. It's amazing how inspirational the great outdoors can be.
And finally, I like to ly on the floor( pillows aplently) in total darkness
and play something totally new and completely made up, or whatever pops into my mind and makes its way to my fingers . My wife has awoke me numerous times with my guitar either on my chest or on the floor beside me. I wouldn't recommend using your #1 guitar for this practice!.....
We've had songwriting contests here on Chordie in the past ( long ago, can't remeber the date, the songs and responses are no longer saved in the post archives) and at the time they didn't generate much of a response, actually it was downright pathetic. I think maybe 10 people participated total ( songwriters and voters). But hey, I'm always the "glass half full" kinda guy. We could probably organize another contest if the demand justifies it.
Let me get this straight;
-Taylor was arrested and remains in prison mainly from testimony from a "jailhouse witness."
-A substance thought to be blood appeared on Taylors' vehicle yet said substance was never tested.
-DNA samples taken from the semen on the alledged "prostitute" did not match the DNA of Taylor or Beck.
-The fact that Taylor and Beck were detained is unbelievable, muchless 16 years spent in prison for gross negligence on behalf of the local police and/or others investigating this horrific crime.
-This sounds extremely questionable from what I've seen and heard thus far.
Jeff, have you remained in contact with Mr. Taylor?
!!!!!!!
Foil Baked/Steamed/Grilled Tofu & veggies
-In aluminum foil packs cover bottom layer with a little olive oil,
-Place tofu( uncooked) cubes in foil, drizzle additional olive oil on tofu.
-Season tofu with fresh cracked pepper, kosher salt, a squeeze or two from fresh lime, and smoked paprika.
-Sautee onions, garlic, yellow sqaush, and zuchinni in olive oil, place in foil pouch on top of the tofu, lightly reseason veggies( easy on the salt!).
-Fold the foil packet so minimal air escapes.
-Place foil pouch on the grill over low/medium heat for approximatly 20 minutes.
Serve over wild or brown rice with a huge jug of beer on the side, DELICIOUSO !!!
Some things need to remain a mystery.
McDonalds doesn't give the secret to the "secret sauce". KFC keeps their herbal combination confined to immediate family members of ole Colonel Saunders. And the old Woodchuck will never reveal his secret. Y'all sort of get where I'm comin' from here?
Journalism/ public speaking 101; avoid trendy catch phrases, they come and go like contents within ones' bowells.
We are all arists' here on this site. Let's educate ourselves and all of those that we come in contact with. I have a rule in my band that applies to those who have access to mic. One time with the " it is what it is" , " my friend", " at the end of the day", etc... The guilty party has to sing, acappella, Right Said Fred's " I'm Too Sexy For Trendy Catch Phrases" as they do their sexy Mick Jagger strut from one side of the stage to the other. We're all pretty clear cut on the phrases to avoid pre-gig to eliminate any legthy arguments pertaining to the legitamacy of potential verbal infractions....Ultimately though, the final decision comes down to the person who signs the checks ( ME! haha)
I'm gonna have to say no on this one. I've played with the Marshall100 & the 50. The 100 is tad bit more powerful and has a few extra channels. But, for the money, and the solo performer, the 50 works just fine for me. I actually have 2 of the 50's that I set up stage left and stage right but for my smaller, indoor gigs I'll use only 1 of them. The volume is plentiful and the sound is easily managable with crystal clear sound. Good luck, keep askin' around and try 'em both.

Hug a root
I dig this tune and really love the fretless bass.
No offense to those of you out there who use this but please help this poster and others who are driven completely insane from this one. What is this one you may ask; drum roll please..... it pains my brain and intensly agonizes my my fingers and brain to even type this sickening, overused catch phrase. The latest vocal vomit that we all must join forces and put a quick and painless end to is;
" MY FRIEND". ( arrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!)
Too much, too much!!!! I'm hearing this catch phrase from judges to soon-to-be-sentenced- lifers, from Rush Limbaugh to Bill Maher, from Yankee fans to Red Sox fans, ENOUGH!!!!!!! STOP this "MY FRIEND" crud. Please I beg of you. ( sobbing with head down towards ground in total and complete frustration) It has been noted and documented right here, right now. ( August 10, 2009 on Chordie).
Please humans, a little creativity with the catch phrases OK?
It is what it is, ( dead)
Ya' know what I'm sayin'?, ( tired)
Fo' real? ( way tired)
You down wit' the 411? ( buried and rarely uncovered)
You know what? ( still alive, but barely)
At the end of the day. ( I'm gonna hurt someone for this one of these days
Better yet folks, just say what is within' our own minds and let us please not be robotic clones of others who choose to robitic clones of others.
OK, phew!!! I feel much better. I guess I'm dealin' with the public way too much. Thanks for allowing me to vent. Once again, sorry if I've offended anyone out there. I just had to get it off of my chest. I tried talking to my wife about my issues but she replied, " You know what, my friend, at the end of the day, it is what it is, ya know what I'm sayin'?"
