Thanks - when in my teenage years I got a lot into the techno-pop stuff, which was most of it around that era smile

No two microphones - I'd used the Rode as a lavalier style mic, on my shirt collar, etc, but wasn't getting the pickup from the voice, so i ordered an 'el cheapo' brand from China with the headset style microphone. Then I ripped out that mic and put my Rode in it's place, which is mostly what I use these days. I still need to hit it with some hot glue, as it keeps popping out of where the old mic used to sit, but it's just one mic for everything. This video is an older one between when I received the headset and before I pulled the mic, so the Rode is off to the side (the internal mic wasn't plugged in after the one trial, in which it's quality was 'as expected').

I'm not 100% sure, but I'll have a stab at this; the formatting on the site uses a variation of a file format called chordpro (see this site for more details: https://www.chordpro.org/chordpro/index.html), although some people are not aware of how to use it so they write their words/music verbatim with the chords aligning above the text, such as:

G               A7
Love me Tender, Love me true ...

 

Whilst the chordpro version includes the chords in square brackets inline, and looks like:

[G]Love me tender,[A7]Love me true ...

 

Which then renders out as:


[G]Love me tender,[A7]Love me true ...




 

Note also that in the forums, this needs to be written as:

[song]
{st: Artist}
{t: Title}
[G]Love me tender,[A7]Love me true ... 
[/song]

Sometimes people will mix and match these two styles as well, which can lead the parser to make mistakes, because it's not sure what it's dealing with ....

I started out with a Ditto, then moved to a Ditto x2. They are both basic and fun to play with (I got the x2 for the same price I sold the Ditto for, so upgraded due to 'no loss of money' factor). Later I moved into the Pigtronix Infinity Looper, specifically because it outputs a MIDI clock which would sync up to my BeatBuddy drum pedal - apparently you can also get the MIDI to sync up to reverb pedals, but I haven't done that yet.

Yes, I do exactly this; on the song go to "view" and copy them from CHORDPRO format, then save to a location and iPad app can access - I use OnSong and store them on my iCloud drive.
