If it sounds as good as your voice it will be a pairing made in Heaven.

Looking forward to this evening.

Sorry M.B. I could not resist the edit to your song. Looking forward to seeing, and hearing, the finished work.

I had a Cort with a Floyd Rose system on it. Not only was changing strings a nightmare, a broken string rendered the guitar unplayable. Never again will I have any guitar with a Floyd Rose.

Actually not all classical guitars have wide necks. My Samick is a full sized guitar but has a neck very much like a 3/4 classical and is no wider than my acoustic and electric guitars. Although it is flat of course and, unusually, it does have a truss rod.

I find it much easier to play than conventional classical guitars when I want that nylon string sound.

Wonderful story Jeff, the legendary 'Southern Hospitality' coming to the fore again. I bet all their friend will be hearing of you soon.

To develop a sense of timing it is a good idea to tap your foot in time to every piece of music you listen too. You have to consciously do it at first but eventually it becomes automatic and, hey presto, you have your own inbuilt metronome.

Hi Dino,

Here is your answer: http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=14807

This happens often, Chordie is a search engine and finds what is already out there. It will show however it was originally written by the author, if the author has it wrong then so does Chordie.

I will be unable to join you at 12:00 (17:00 GMT) as I am picking a friend up from the airport and we shall go for a meal. I will not be around until about 15:00 (20:00 GMT) but I will certainly look out for you when I return.

My brother, Colin's Aria guitar. He thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread and I must admit, when I have been allowed to get my hands on it, I was quite impressed too.

You sure can, just the same as always. Halfway down the right hand side of the page between the auto-scroll and the chopro buttons. One or two people in the recent past have had problems with their monitor resolution causing them to lose sight of it.

Thanks Jx3. Lays is the most popular brand here in the Algarve, and the Walkers brand is used in the UK (I cannot remember seeing Lays in the UK but I may be wrong).

Nice to catch you on Skype, hope to catch you again soon.

I too enjoyed The Monkees, in fact I did 'Daydream Believer' at a gig last Saturday. R.I.P.

Jx3, why not experiment on a 'one to one' basis before the time? The time difference might make it difficult for you and I to try (althought I certainly will if we can organise it) but I am sure there are other's in your time zone that would help.

Roger

Sorry Jeff I will not be available for either of those; 7:00pm there is 2:00am here and I need my beauty sleep (desperately - I just looked in the mirror smile). Saturday at 2:00pm there is 7:00pm here and I have a gig that evening.

I have lost thumb and finger nails many times and all have grown back. It depends where it is damaged as to how quick it comes off, the last one was removed by a nurse at the local health centre as when it was only partially attached. None have grown back deformed, that only happens if you damage the nail root.

Roger

I too enjoyed the experience, yes the sound quality on Skype faltered at times, but it certainly was a different kind of campfire sing-song smile.

I have a gig on Saturday so will only be available on Sunday but if Saturday suits everybody I will wait for the next one.
