The normal with a flute and a violin with strong vocals leaves you with a lot to like in a strong performance. Great find TF. Hope many listen to this one.

Gabriella Quevedo playing was excellent and very clean. She did We Are the Champions as good as any classical guitar trained guitar player including me. Great choice. I had not seen her before.

I remember them. What was their introduction song ended up to be their greatest hit. They played some others but they did not climb the charts like this one did. If you listen hard to this one they say their name several times during the song. He also finger picked during the entire song.

Lennon and John were good friends, and in 1974, Lennon appeared on John's single cover of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", the B-side of which was Lennon's "One Day at a Time". The pair later collaborated on "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" which appeared on Lennon's Walls and Bridges album. Lennon agreed to appear in concert with Elton if "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" became a #1 single, which it did. On Thanksgiving Day, 1974, Lennon and John performed these two songs along with "I Saw Her Standing There". This would be Lennon's last live performance. The song title "Empty Garden" refers to the huge pile of flowers left behind by mourners outside The Dakota, John's home in New York City, near the site where he was assassinated.
When Lennon's son Sean was born in 1975, Elton was made godfather.
After Lennon's death, Elton was concerned that a tribute song to the late Beatle would be "clumsy" – until he saw Taupin's lyrics. The lyric "Can't you come out to play?" may refer to Lennon's song "Dear Prudence".
Elton John wrote and recorded an earlier instrumental tribute to Lennon, "The Man Who Never Died", which was issued as the B-side of "Nikita" in 1985 and eventually included as a bonus track on the remastered reissue .

Leon Redbone has died and from what I read he as 69. Years ago he met Bob Dylan and he said he sat nest to him and he said at the time he sat next to Leon Redbone he could not tell if he was 25 or 55. His obit said he was 69 although his family said he was over 115.
Here is just one of his songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUxbInKev-o

He is smooth and very good. Enjoyed watching him. It looked like he had a new guide of some type added and it his guitar that might be extra protection for his thumb. Just a guess.
