He was one of my favorite early blues artists

Having gone through this with my wife for many years, this pretty much covers the reality of it. Very nice indeed.

As stated above, using 2,3,4 finger sounds like the solution. Many people play that way. It will kind of be like starting over, but once you get it down, you should be good to go. Welcome to Chordie.

I've known a few morning whistlers in my time. Humming or singing throughout the day is how I learn the odd ball lyrics and melodies from a song I am working on. Some songs that I am unfamiliar with and have too many words in a section and I can't seem to get it. I hum away and generally get it finally. Good lyrics there for sure

Very good song.  Way to go Phill Orbison

Nice.

I sure wish I wasn't so far away. I would love to come and sing one with you. I know whoever shows up will have lots of fun.

I had to finally put my wife in assisted living last October. I couldn't do it anymore. I had no spare time. She was there 3 months.

Thanks guys. Yes it's been a tough road. I am getting a little better as time goes on. It still hurts though. Phill, flippant is good.

I never put this out there, except to Bill. My wife died in January, on my birthday as a matter of fact from Alzheimer's. I sure do miss her.
