Topic: What line of work are you in?

Not so long ago there was a great post about where everyone was from. On a similar note I started to wonder what type of work my fellow musicians were in. I'm sure it will be as diverse as our locations. It is fun to see that as unique as we all are we all share a common denominator.

Personaly I work in pirvate security and as a bodyguard. It has given me the chance to meet many great musicians.  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif" border=0 alt="Very Happy">

I am a medical doctor, at this moment and probably the rest of my life, or what's left over, not working due to a huge car crash in September 2000, restarted July 2001, but had to stop (not by the board of medicine), because I suffered to much pain, I was getting slower and slower to do my work, so fellow collueges, like Orhopedic Doctors, Neurosurgeons, have put me at non active. Very, very hard at first, but better now, THANKS TO 3 THINGS.

I'm a management consultant that specializes in U.S. government contracting regulations.  Dry as a bone, but I enjoy it.  I especially love planning, developing, and presenting training courses.

My hat is off to PatrickJacques and Guitarpix.  I've had my hand in that line of work and it's hard.  Satisfying at the end of the day to look back and see how much you've accomplished, but both challenging of mind and hard on the body.  I blame an incident driving nails into cinder block with a 24oz framing hammer for my inability to get a decent bridge for a B chord.  One of those incidents where I busted up the ring finger badly enough that when the X-ray tech asked why I didn't tell him my middle finger was broken too I answered honestly it was because I didn't know.  Compared to the ring finger, it didn't hurt at all.
