Hi Livebaitman,

This is the Market Place so you are only likely to get comment if someone has goods for sale that fit your description. If you are just looking for comment and suggestions on what amp is likely to fill your needs then you should post in the 'Guitars and Accessories' section and not here.

The only thing wrong with the chopro was the spaces between the 'song' and '/song' and the '[]' brackets surrounding them which I have removed for you.

Hi Amy,

It looks OK to me apart from the "A to B to C  half half". There is a Bb (A#) between A and B so A to B is a whole tone and not a half.

There have been many discussion both in the open Forum and among the Moderator's about having a section where you can sell your musical items. This is now a available for you.

There is a 'Sticky' giving guidelines on it's use and, because of the obvious problems that can arise, I have decided to restrict advertising to Members and above although Junior Members are more than welcome to ask questions about anything that is on offer and contact the seller privately if they want to purchase.

                                            .......................................

James McCormick has had to relinquish his position as Moderator because of work commitments.

Zurf has taken on the role of Moderator and is Co-Moderating in the 'Chat' and the 'Market Place'.

Hi Graham welcome to Chordie,

You have posted this in the wrong section, it should be in 'Song Requests', so I am moving it there and hopefully someone will then be able to help you.

Roger

This is a new venture and the guidelines may be amended as situations arise so please read before posting.

1/ Junior Members, Dealer and Commercial Retailers are not allowed to advertise.

2/ Only musical instruments and accessories owned by the seller to be advertised.

3/ Only CD's produce by the seller with recordings of their own work to be advertised.

4/ Any photos or links to photos must be the actual goods on offer and not from a commercial site.

5/ Any photos or links to photos for goods wanted must be from the manufacturer of the goods own site only. Links to e-bay, etc., or a retailer of the equipment wanted are not allowed.

6/ The asking price must always be posted.

7/ All negotiations to be private. This means no public exchange of addresses or debate over pricing.

8/ All adverts will be removed one calendar month from the date posted.

9/ This service is open for Chordie Members at their own risk. All dealings are the responsibility of the parties concerned and on the understanding that Chordie will not be held liable in the event of any dispute.

You will notice a new 'Sticky' in this section of guidelines for using the Forum. Although it has gone out under my name they are the work of Ken (upyerkilt), James McCormick and Amy (mekidsmom).

They are there to help newcomers to Chordie and Per is looking at including them in the password e-mail which is sent when people register.

If there are amendments in the future a message will be posted here advising of changes.

Questions about Songs found on Chordie?
Please view the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Here first before posting questions etc. about the songs found (or not found) on Chordie

Hi katestrel and welcome to Chordie,

All the songs that are displayed are the work of indivduals who have worked out the chords themselves and Chordie is a search engine that finds them and displays them in a manner that can be transposed and easily printed. As such, it is not uncommon to find typos and I suspct that the CM7/9 should in fact read Cm7/9. If possible you can look at another version of the song to verify this.

I guess you guys don't read the 'About Chordie' section smile.

There are currently 8 Honoured Members excluding the Moderators, many of whom qualify.

Sadly there will be no salary cheques forthcoming but it is a way of easily identifying the newcomers amongst us and giving recognition for the contributions from others that makes Chordie the friendly, helpful place that it is.

Arie, whilst welcoming you to Chordie I have to point out that you have hijacked two other posts with the identical question. I have now removed the other two. Please ask your question once and follow mekidsmom's advice in starting a new topic for a new question. If you are unsure how to do so please write to me privately and I will give you step by step instrucions on what to do.

Hi Alex and welcome to Chordie,

Please read the 'Stickys', they are there to guide and help you.

Chordie is a search engine and host no songs at all (apart from originals by Members). If you find one somewhere on the Internet that would like adding read the Resources for details on how to do so.

A Banker parks his brand new Porsche in front of the office to show it off to his colleagues.

As he's getting out of the car, a lorry comes speeding along too close to the kerb and takes off the door before zooming off.

More than a little distraught, the Banker grabs his mobile and calls the police.

Five minutes later, the police arrive. Before the policeman has a chance to ask any questions, the man starts screaming hysterically: 'My Porsche, my beautiful silver Porsche is ruined. No matter how long it's at the panel beaters it'll simply never be the same again!'

After the man finally finishes his rant, the policeman shakes his head in disgust.

'I can't believe how materialistic you blessed Bankers are,' he says. 'You lot are so focused on your possessions that you don't notice anything else in your life.'

'How can you say such a thing at a time like this?' sobs the Porsche owner.

The policeman replies, 'Didn't you realise that your right arm was torn off when the truck hit you.'

The Banker looks down in horror.

'FLIPPING HECK!' he screams........'Where's my Rolex????...

Hey Jude, (now that sounds like a good song title smile),

This is in a minor key so you cannot use Major chords so here are the Cm chords:

For Em7 use Cm7
For Bm7 use Gm7
For Am7 use Fm7
For B7 use G7
For Cm7 use G#m7

I suspect that these might not be too easy either so perhaps these may be better in Am:

For Em7 use Am7
For Bm7 use Em7
For Am7 use Dm7
For B7 use E7
For Cm7 use Fm7

You can probably get away with out using the 7th but it will not sound quite the same.

I hope that helps and please let me know how you get on or if you want any more help just ask.

You will now notice that I have re-introduced the titles that we had on Chordie before the revamp 3 years ago.

Junior Member for those with less than 25 post.

Senior Member for those with between 100 and 999 posts.
Honoured Member for those with more than 1000 posts.

This way those who are new to Chordie are more easily known and those whose have contributed more have recognition for their input.

What the heck are 'scrunchies'???

Now a 'crunchie' is a rather delicious chocolate bar but 'scrunchies' is jibberish to a Brit smile.
