lol
yer not going to give up and read things are you?
lol

OK, I will tell you how to do this.

In resources ( yes that option again) there is a part that tells you how to add a song to chordie's index.
You can go to the song in the original site and copy the address and paste it into where chordie asks you to ADD SONG.

it might take a day or two or even a week to get on choride as the webmaster and creator of all chordie things can be busy as he has believe it or not. has got another life other than chordie. HE does his best and I tihnk as well as most others he does a grand job.

welcome laurence,

this site is good for everyone, advanced, beginners , intermediate players, even those that do not play.

If you need any help just ask in the relevant section of the forum. There is a right good bunch of folk on here from all over the world that help those in need.

I am a total non believer but i hope that does not bother you. But I would rather walk by a church and hear hymns getting sung to the sound of a guitar rather than an organ. I think they play guitars in the church on Jura. Or they do at the folk festival time.

anyway, enjoy yourself here.

So, out of all the thousands of songs that have been posted the actual songwriter posted it in here?

NO!!
and it looks like you have not read the resources to find out how chordie works.

If you do not understand this then i suggest you seek help elsewhere.

someone, anyone puts a song on another site i.e. ultimateguitar.com. Chordie working as a search engine gets the song from that site and transforms it to look the way it does on chordie. The song is not hosted here as it is not origianlly posted directly onto this site.
If you click on any song you can click on another box to find where it came from origianlly. You will probably find it is not done in the same format as chordie displays it in. this is what makes chordie good, and in my opinion, better.

If you think 2 why not just go to the original place the song was originally posted" you can  but it wont look the same and they might not have a great forum like here, thats if the other site has a forum at all.

Hope that explains it to you, if not then i would say go read the resources on choride and learnhow chordie started and what it is.

I am not sure exactly how to delete them but if you want to start from scratch you can delete all your songs out and you can rename your book.

I still play free poker.
Not on tilt place though. I play it on coral for free and also on 888.com that site is really good for free poker and free roulette.

I have not played for real money in a while.
I started with playing black jack. my first day I creditted £10 in my account and I was up to about £480 after two hours then I lost a bit and banked £350 or thereabouts. Then it was onto poker, I lost a bit as I was just starting so I decided to start playing practice games for free until I mastered it. I have won quite a bit as well as lost a bit but all in I would say I am still up.

I stopped playing for real money when I saw a program on tv showing how people could cheat online by the use of a program that worked out the percentages straight away of what chance they had of winning. It made it no point in playing as playing against a computer would be quite hard. It turns a game into a game of luck instead of skill.

Texas hold em is a superb game and very addictive. I sometimes play on facebook too but mostly I am addicted to scramble and scrabble on that, as well as my virtual farm FARMVILLE. yes I am very sad.

Ken

great pics.
I also missed this on the clyde.

And Tub, When I was driving over your end I kept going onto the left hand side after turning a right hand corner. Driving towards a big truck flashing its lights I refused to move until the last few seconds as I forgot what side i shold have been on. I deserved to be flashed, hooted and cursed at.

bbrown,

like John says, you chose the view/print book. This will work if it is your own you want to pirnt.

If you want to print someone elses you have a few choices.
You could import someone elses songbook then do the same as above with View/print

Or you could  view someone elses book, right click mouse and print.
Another thing you could do is save it to your computer ( you can do this with your own too) Once on the songbook rightclick mouse and add to favourites and make it available offline.

Not that I am saying you are wrong but I tihnk the profile tab is quite easy to find where it is.
But maybe Per could make it easier as a few have had difficulties in locating "profile"
Maybe a big tab next to Artists, songs, books etc would be better to find?

Ken

you would need to know his user name then put the name in the search field in Public songbooks and hope he has made it public.

I think if anyone punk or not got offered a lot of money to do an advert they would.
It should not be seen as " selling out"

He is bringing back P.I.L for a reunion this year or next.

thanx pix,

I had to go back in and look for that search field. It is not very obvious.
I expect search fields to be at the top all the time for some reason.

nae luck Zurf,
Hope you get it all sorted soon.
Ye might think it is a big hassle just now and it probably is but once it is finished it will seem like good hard work done with the result of a new part of the house.

Good luck

There are quite a few musicians that are gifted artists.
And I think I could bring Syd Barrett ( founder member and songwirter for the pink floyd)into every topic, lol.
He was an an excellent painter as well as a genius of a musician.

My wife is very good at drawing/painting and good on the violin, piano and mandolin and can also finger pick very good on the guitar. My daughter is a good drawer and she is picking up the violin and flute very well.

Roger waters from.... yep...Pink floyd also sketches.

I think phil collins is also a drawer/painter

tyla from Dogs D'amour too a superb cartoonist

hmmm,
there may be something in this but I am crap at drawing and painting unless it is painting a wall.
