He was on Idol, I think he was the one that was in a motorcycle accident and broke both of his arms so severely that the doctors said he would never play guitar again. I guess he proved them wrong!!!!

How about Driving Wheelchairs Intoxicated. You could look for a few more crazy drunk wheelchair story's to include in the song.

That sounds like my last golf tournament experience. Shotgun start on a par 3 with  very little warm up. I step up to the tee and hit it within 10' and putted it in for birdie. I think we only used 2 more of my shots the whole day! I thought I was the only one that believed in the finite number of good swings per round theory. I don't know if I am good enough to teach you anything but the offer stands if you want to play with others let me know. My neighbor just picked up an acoustic and I am currently teaching him chords. I would like to put together a group of folks to get together and play, I always find that to be the best way to learn as  well as the most inspiring method of learning.

As close as we live to each other we should try to get together and play. I don't have the best rhythm either but I can usually work out a simple strumming pattern that makes the song recognizable. I can now sing (I use the word sing very loosely here) and play at the same time and I have even sung in front of people other than my family. I may be able to help you out with some of the things you are wanting to learn. I am kind of at a stand still where I continue to do the same things and I have been looking to work on fingerpicking and scales in order to progress in my playing.

My 10 year old asked me who I wanted to win the game, before I could answer my 8 year said he wanted the New Your Pastryots to win the Super Bowl. I tell you I never know what these kids are gonna come up with next!

It looks like Monday was when the odometer hit 200,000 miles, I think getting fired was part of the story of how he acquired the car.

That's the way to go, I like em too

I like black with highlights with the finish on the Jeep paint.

Dont forget to get some clear sheet protectors so your printouts will last!

All I Can Do Is Write About It or Can't You See, I don't remember which one was first.

I would try looking down the vent with a good light first, a snake may push it into your pipes and cause a bigger headache. I think you should have a vent for each tie in to your main line, I know I do, so it is possible for one vent to plug up and have one slow drain.

The I phone 4 is a 3g phone, the 4 indictes 4th generation not 4g. My phone is in 4g right now so I can say that it does exist and is not as elusive as bigfoot.

Thanks for the info, I found a great looking 12 string at Guitar Center but I am not interested in a 12 string. I did play around with it and even with 11 strings, all of which needed changing it sounded way better and played way easier that the Sigma that was hanging next to it.

Naoslager, I did see the ones on Craigslist recently, that is what made me think of them again. I have to sell some guitars to build up a fund in case one comes up again.

I am looking to upgrade from entry level guitars but I am not looking to spend $2000.00 plus on a Martin or Gibson. I know you are a big fan of these guitars and have seen some information on here you have provided on them. I am basically a strummer and I play old country music, I like a mellow balanced sound. I think I saw a post where you recommended getting an earlier model guitar versus a new one. What models would you recommend, what years of production and what are the price ranges you would pay for them?

I love Hank the First and Hank the Third, but Hank the Second never did it for me. "New" country is really just "Old 80's hair music" dressed up in boots instead of bandannas.   There is a crop of youngsters out there that have gone way old school, and I like that a whole lot better.   Justin Townes Earl, Hank III, Zoe Muth, all under 30, and sound like they've been lost in the west for decades.

Hank III is playing in Seattle Monday night.  I may go see him.   I've seen JTE half a dozen times, and I discovered Zoe Muth when she opened for him.

Jr used to do the Hank Sr impersonation when he first started out, although he was not as good as III is at it. They both went their own direction in music, I don' think I would call Jr "new country" though. I did look up Justin Townes Earl and I do like him, he is better than hid dad. I don't like the metal stuff that III has done but he is talented at old school and outlaw country music.

Check out All in Alabama, he wrote that one after he fell off the mountain and nearly died. Eyes of Waylon is a great song, The Ballad of Hank Williams is funny, and check out Blues Man.
